Speaking of art, I just watched Clint Eastwood's "Bird", a bio-pic about Charlie Parker. It's a tad flawed, but for a very good reason - Eastwood loves jazz, loves music, loves musicians. A director who didn't share these loves might have made a "snappier" movie, moved the story along a little more briskly, maybe even embelished the facts, but, for my money, I'll still take Eastwood's version. It's definitely worth watching.
