Meanwhile, at least a couple of the "Cases of the Free-Floating Feet" here in B.C. seem closer to resolution. Which is kind of nice to know. I mean, do other places have random feet washing ashore? And, come to think of it, is this phenomenon somehow a product of the continuing search for the perfect running shoe? After all, if Nike hadn't invented their "Air" line of shoes (subsequently imitated by other manufacturers), wouldn't all these feet have just sunk quietly to the bottom of the sea?
